Maryland was a fun stop. We spent a day watching a Tigers/Orioles double header with Ron and Nancy. It was pretty cool checking out a different ball park and it's definitely a good place to watch a game from.
We also went to the local Six Flags amusement park to check out the Halloween activities. The haunted houses weren't as well done as Cedar Point or Kings Dominion but were a lot of fun none the less. I guess a sure sign of getting old is when you enjoy watching kids get the daylight scared out of them at an amusement park.
Everybody in Michigan thinks that mayflies are a pain in the butt, well the east coast nuisance of choice is the stink bug. The outside of our camper has dozens of them hanging out and every day half a dozen or so manage to find their way into the camper. They are generally harmless but annoying as heck. Supposedly if you kill one they emit a horrendous odor, thus the name. Don't know how long we are going to fight these little hitchhikers but hopefully not long.
We are currently at Kings Dominion where Nancy & Bruce and Nancy and Ron will join us later in the week. We are going to check out the haunted houses at Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens. Some kids never grow up!!
Once the torrential downpouring rains & tornado warnings subsided, we had a great time! Nothing like being at a nice ballpark to watch each of our favorite teams battle out to see who ends up in last place (O's have it!). Going to Six Flags was just an "appetizer" for what was to come next.... Teribery gang at Kings Dominion's Haunt & Busch Gardens "Howl-O-Scream".... here we come!
