We spent a couple of days at Cave City, Kentucky. While there we enjoyed a tour thru mammoth caves and the lost river cave. A trip to the hidden river cave was also on the agenda but the continuous rain had the cave flooded, so there were no tours available. While touring the lost river cave the water level was extremely high and the water clarity was zero so we couldn't see any of the albino water critters that the cave is known for. We finally gave up and at the first break in the weather we took off and headed north a day early. Turned out to be a good move as once we got settled into Shipshewanna, roads were being closed due to flash flooding in Northeast Indiana. For a change we timed that right. We are going to spend a couple of days here then head up to Hastings Michigan, where I plan on spending a couple of days golfing with my old golf partner, Krout.
