July 4th

We had a great month in Michigan and really enjoyed spending the weekend with the kids at Sterling State Park. It is kind of hectic when everybody gets together but at the same time it's pretty neat. The "kids" have definitely grown up and watching their lives unfold is pretty cool. I remember being where they are at and can only hope they don't make some of the mistakes I made but life is funny like that. You never know how things will turn out. You just keep giving it your best shot and hope for the best. Kelsey has especially grown up. I can't believe that the little goober is actually driving. We had so much fun watching her grow up I can't wait to watch her for the next twenty years.

Our time in Michigan went too fast and we didn't get to do a lot of things we were planning on. What we missed most in Michigan were our friends and due to spending so much time getting the house ready to sell, we didn't get to spend much time with any of them. We are hoping to head back to Michigan to see the people that we really missed before heading to Florida for the winter. Hopefully we can get together with Robyn & Jerry and Bill & Carol and before we head South for the winter.

Our usual Teribery luck kicked in and our house deal fell through. Apparently the buyer lost his job three days after they made the offer so we are back to square one. We were told to expect another offer tomorrow so here is hoping...
