Happy Thanksgiving

Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your gains instead of your losses.
Count your joys instead of your woes;
Count your friends instead of your foes.
Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your full years instead of your lean;
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
Count your health instead of your wealth.

Happy Thanksgiving to our family and friends.
We had an excellent stuffed turkey, cooked on the grill and enjoyed the company of Ron and Nancy. They headed home today and we will miss them showing us around. We are our own now, so I guess it's officially time to devote my full attention to Sheila. Those of you who know me have got to feel sorry for her.

Heard from kids before dinner but nothing since. This was their first Thanksgiving alone and Lynn, Rosie and Kelsey were cooking dinner. Hopefully nobody got food poisoning (LOL).

  1. our Thanksgiving was nice, we all agreed the food was good and we did it all ourselves. We were proud of that, but we missed you, we talked about how things were different all day. So far so good, no one has shown any signs of food poisoning!!

  2. As partakers of the grilled Thanksgiving turkey.... yum yum! Butch did an excellant job making it wonderfully done,& the numerous "low-carb" sides that Sheila prepared, made for a GREAT Turkey Day Meal; not to mention being able to sit out at the campground picnic table for our meal and spend more time together! Just sorry that the "guys" (Ron especially) couldn't catch even 1 fish to grill along side the turkey... maybe next year ???
