We are making preps to leave the Outer Banks, North Carolina and continue on our way south. It was a good place to stop as we had a lot of fun surf fishing, seeing all of the beaches and dunes, and visiting Kittyhawk, North Carolina. I plan on putting all of my surf fishing lessons to use when I get to Florida. We also had one of the best seafood dinners (flounder) we have had in a very long time. This place was kind of neat but I am still really looking forward to someplace where the temperatures is in the 70's.
After 34 years of marriage (yes I had to ask the wife how long it's been and yes I'm in trouble for asking) and just two weeks of living in a 30' camper I have discovered that my lovely wife cheats at cards. (okay maybe I am not that good). When the weather is bad we play cards, kind of like when we were first married. You remember those days. All I know for sure is that she is kicking my butt at gin rummy, so I'll have to keep a closer eye on her to make sure she's not dealing off the bottom of the deck.
