As you can see by the picture good help is hard to find. Dustin was supposed to be painting bedrooms but as you can see, more supervision was required LOL. Just kidding, Dustin and Lynn spent the weekend helping us paint the house. It went very well and we accomplished more than we expected. Everything is painted. The carpet will be installed on Friday and then we're done. WHEW!!! I'm glad it's almost over. All this painting has definitely interfered with my golfing time. It's time to start playing again.
Well thanks to the the Red Wings I lost my bet with Mary B and Jeff who unfortunately are Pittsburgh fans. Hard to believe the wings lost a game seven at home but somehow they did. As a result I owe Mary B and Jeff a dinner when we get to Erie. Should be a lot of fun and who knows, maybe I can convert them into Red Wing fans.
Luckily it is only a "dinner" you owe them.. and hey, Smith Weenies count as "dinner"! If the Washington Capitals would have gotten past Pittsburgh, then you would have had to contend with Ron & Nan and their bets instead... so you may want to count your blessings after all... Congrats to Mary B & Jeff! (And better luck to the rest of us NEXT season!).
