Our time here in Crystal River is almost up, for this year. So we are running around doing some of the things we talked about but never got around to doing. Today we visited Rainbow Springs State Park. It's the fourth largest natural spring in Florida and an absolutely gorgeous park. The flowers are in full bloom and can be enjoyed on the trails meandering through the park. There are also several scenic waterfalls and trails leading to many different views of the falls. . Today we drove to the park but you can also get here by kayak and we plan on trying that next time. It should be an excellent trip to kayak up to here, have some lunch on the river bank and then drift downriver back to the truck.
Sorry Mary B. but Sheila is starting to crack. She even let me take a picture today without giving me any grief. It's not a done deal yet but the things are certainly starting to sway my way.
Sorry mom I have to side with dad here. I am glad you let him take your picture. I mean it's not like you are ugly, I love the pictures I have where you are smiling and posing in the picture b/c there are so few.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a cool park, I would love to see it. Don't forget to try that fast food place Dustin likes before you leave.
