Plan A was to finally catch our dinner. It was a perfect day, warm and sunny, with the tide coming in. (That's supposed to be the ideal fishing conditions). We stocked up on live shrimp (they were big enough to eat) and headed for our ideal spot. As you can see Sheila did pretty well. She caught a lot of trout about 9" long. The only problem is that the minimum legal size is 15" and we didn't catch any that big.
That leaves plan B, good old Publix frozen fish. If anybody out there is willing to give us fishing lessons just send your resumes to gteribery@gmail.com.
We are experiencing a cold spell down here, highs in the mid 60's and lows in the 30's. Everyone that lives here is freezing but us snowbirds are still pretty comfortable. The cold weather is hampering some of our activities though. I wouldn't go on the scheduled bike trip Friday, as I refuse to go biking when it's so cold that gloves are required. (Yes Sheila is still calling me a wimp for not going)
