Thanks to Ron and Nancy we have our Christmas tree. Now that the tree is up it's starting to look like Christmas. I keep telling Sheila she needs to behave or Santa's not stopping here but I gotta tell you she just isn't paying attention. My guess is that she's getting the old lump of coal but we'll see.
We got out and did a little exploring today and ended up at Fort De Soto State Park. It was an absolutely beautiful park. There were miles of beaches, miles of paved biking trails, two fishing piers and a ton of places to launch kayaks (we didn't take them on this trip but we will definitely go back with fishing poles and kayaks).
We also did a little looking around and found our next campground. It's call Ellite campgrounds in Crystal River if you want to look up their website. We are going to move about an hour north to the Crystal River area. The camp sites are big, it has cable TV, a heated screened-in pool and a hot tub. It's situated in pine trees, sort of like Cooks Forest back in PA. The only downside is that it's not on the water but we are looking forward to settling in there and checking out the Crystal River area. We wil post some pictues when we get settled in.
Hopefully this next campground won't have so many No-see-ums to feast on Sheila! And if anyone gets a lump of coal, it has to be Butch! After all, we really know you're driving your wife bonkers.. but, boy, that holiday tree really spruces (ha ha) up the place!
