Eating my way North

We are currently in Gulf Shores Alabama, just checking out the sights in this area. We have had some of the best dinners ever here in southern Alabama. Last night we ate at the Original Oyster House and had an excellent seafood dinner. The parmesen-garlic oysters were outstanding any my grilled tuna was very good. Tonight we went to a place called Lambert's Cafe. They are known as the "home of the throwed roll". The staff walks around the restaurant carrying various side dishes, like fried potatoes and onions, fried okra, black eyed peas and macaroni with tomatoes. If you should want a fresh baked hot roll , and they are awesome, you just raise your hand and the roll boy will throw you a roll from wherever he is. Let me tell you, his aim was deadly and I never saw him miss his target all night. He should be a big league pitcher for sure. Besides the side dishes, the food was great and I had one of the best chicken fried steaks I have ever had. I am absolutely loving the food here.
