Puppies, Puppies.....Everywhere

We are at Seven Lakes State Park near Holly, Michigan. Everyone showed up for Memorial Day weekend and a good time was had by all. The weather cooperated very well and we spent a lot of time sitting around the campfire.

Dustin and MJ have a new puppy named Bella. She is a cockerspaniel and is cute as can be.

Lynn, Rosie and Kelsey have a new puppy named Sophie. She is a poodle, yorkie mix and is a big ball of white fluff. The puppies played together like little kids. They would rough house around until one of them would get annoyed, then they would both start their little puppy growling and an adult would have to step in and separate them. It was kinda cute.


I took Sophie (I call her PooPoo) for her first kayak lesson. She thought for sure she could walk on water so I let her try it. Boy was she shocked (not a happy camper) so I plucked her out of the lake and sat her back on my lap. Big mistake, I forgot how dogs like to shake when they get wet, well she did and all of that fur had water flying everywhere. After that little life learning experience she decided that just sitting in a kayak wasn't really such a bad idea and was certainly glad to get back on dry land. I doubt that she is looking forward to another lesson any time soon.

As you can see, Sheila is just plain wore out!!!
