It's obvious one of you guys living in that frozen tundra up north have put a cold weather curse on us. It is colder here than it has been in years. The temp dropped below freezing AGAIN last night and once again our water lines froze. At first we blamed the curse on Sara as she seems to be the frozen pipes expert but upon further review, everything seems to point at Mary B and Jeff being the cold weather culprits. They flew into Orlando Sunday and it's been cold every day since they arrived. They are scheduled to leave Saturday and that's when the temps are expected to rise into the mid seventies. Nothing is for sure but it sure looks like it's their fault.
With all of this cold weather we haven't been doing much except for making plans for our next camping site. We have reserved a site at Mexico Beach Florida for the month of April. Rosie and John (friends here in Florida) have guaranteed that we will catch fish while there. (Okay actually John guaranteed and Rosie tried to warn him about being over confident. Lesson #3). Redfish, trout and sharks are supposed to be plentiful. John and Rosie have offered to come up to Mexico Beach and give us fishing lessons so we are looking forward to the trip. Looking at the website, there is a lot to do in the area. The campground, Rustic Sands Resort, has cabins that will easily accommodate visitors that are looking for warm weather and fun in the sun.( hint, hint, hint)
