Lynn and Kelsey flew into town Friday for a visit; peace and quiet is now over. We spent a little time in Crystal River showing them the sights. They seemed to really enjoy seeing the manatees at Homosassa Springs State Park and fortunatly there were a lot of them around to watch.
There is some unwritten Florida law that states if you spend more than 30 days in the state you must visit Disney; so here we are. We are spending a week here with Lynn and Kelsey and staying at the Caribbean beach hotel at Disney. Staying on Disney property and using the Disney bus system to get around has worked very well thus far. We have visited Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom so far and are having a ball. Kelsey really enjoyed the Expedition Everest ride and screamed pretty much the whole time, both times we rode it. Lynn has been enjoying the shows like "Finding Nemo the musical". Sheila seems to be enjoying it all and I have been having my usual fun just giving everyone a hard time. Unfortunately Sheila hasn't been feeling very well; a cold has been kicking her butt. Hopefully soon she will be back to her normal feisty self and everything will return to normal in the Teribery household.
It took Kelsey about 13 seconds to figure out that her room key was also a charge card and the threats to use it soon started. Believe me, there is nothing more dangerous than a fourteen year old with a charge card. I'm doomed.
I have been trying to talk Kelsey into doing the "summit plummet" water slide when get to the water park but I think she's going to chicken out. Until then I'll keep working on her and keeping everyone on their toes.
Let me tell you one guy living with three women is a struggle; next time we get two rooms. One for me and one for them. No matter when I shower, it's the wrong time and the topic of conversation is never ever sports.
