Lesson #8
Do not close the camper door before checking your pocket for your keys. I got up early today and went fishing with dad(we will come back to that). Being the thoughtful, kind husband that I am, I locked the door behind me as I left. Good idea huh? Nope!!! I made one teeny tiny mistake and didn't tell my darling wife that I locked the door. Of course Murphy's Law kicked in and she left the camper, closed the door and was locked out. By this time I am 28 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico so there was no help around. The poor wife was locked out till about 6:00 when I came dragging in from another tough day on the ocean. It was certainly not her day.
I wasn't aware of the doom that was about to hit until we got back, so I had an excellent day of fishing. We went after grouper but the cold weather seems to have driven them to deeper water. We ended up catching a ton of grunts. Everyone on the boat claimed they were very good to eat and they were keeping them, so we thought why not try it. We potentially caught our first edible fish. Of course we won't know until we perform the taste test tomorrow. If this attempt fails we are just plain screwed. I mean if the professionals can't even teach me to catch an edible fish, there is just no hope.
U are a mean brother I hope she gave u heck big time.
ReplyDeleteThose "disappearing chocolate covered strawberries" were just a tiny "prepayment" that Butch unknowlingly owed to Sheila for all of his "lessons" that always seem to occurring, just doesn't look like there were ENOUGH of them to call it even "close". Your RV should now be renamed "Butch's Retirement DAWGhouse"!
ReplyDeleteOh, by the way "GO STEELERS !!!"
