You would think that after all these years I would have learned life's simple lessons but apparently that's not the case.Lesson #5
Never, and I mean NEVER, mix electronics and salt water.
We went kayaking on the Crystal River yesterday and had a ball. The weather was perfect, we actually saw manatees swimming nearby and the water was crystal clear. We did a little exploring and found some fresh water springs that feed into the river. Talk about gorgeous scenery. but as usual all good things must come to an end. When we got back to the beach, as I was taking my life jacket off, I managed to drop Sheilas camera AND my cell phone in the water. Neither one is operable anymore, thus lesson #5. (In case your wondering, yes if Sheila had done that I would have thrown a real fit and no she didn't say a word). Hmmmm I wonder if she's up to something?

ReplyDeleteI can guess what you want Santa to bring you this year, now if only he knew where to bring them. It turns out Santa is afraid of Manatees and alligators. I'll give him my address and i'll just keep them here till you can come by and claim them...
