This campground is really scenic and has all the right extras, laundry etc. We get quite the view looking behind our camper as the picture shows, especially sunsets. Shopping is within a mile although the campground store sells beer so there is probably not much else we will need.
We are starting to settle in to this retired (camping) lifestyle. Tonight's activities consisted of watching everyone singing karaoke at the campground restaurant/bar. It was kind of like being at the Village Inn back in good old Newport except that there were kids running around and we were sitting outside in December. I guess no matter where you go people just aren't that much different.
My new favorite food is sweet potato french fries. It's not exactly part of the Atkins diet but they sure are good. May have to upgrade my truck suspension in order to get me home.
We are thinking about touring the local Budweiser brewery tomorrow. I know Jerry wouldn't approve but I'll wear a Miller Lite tee shirt so it will be okay.
MMM! When u come home I know where to get the best sweet potatoe fries, it is at the old Boston Store a retraunt called Under The Clock. I here u won't be this way for Christmas so I will take a picture of the gift I was gonna get u and rell u all about it, lol
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the sweet potato fries Big G. I love them also, but I don't get to have them very often because you son hates them. They have them at White Castle and they serve them with a cinnimon dipping sauce. Yummy! So I see you two are enjoying retirement. I also hear that someone keeps raving about their haircut! I'm glad she likes it.
