I knew there would be some lessons learned and I have already learned two significant ones;
1. Don't wait until mid November to leave Michigan if you don't like driving in the snow. Right now we are sitting in a Holiday Inn Express in Mount Pleasant Pennsylvania. We drove into a monster snow storm in the Pittsburgh area, got lost (lesson #2) and decided to call it a day.
2. Always verify directions from my usually trusty Garmin.I'm not sure what caused it but Carmin (that's what the robotics team named my Garmin) had us get off the turnpike an hour early and led us into the middle of nowhere here in Pennsylvania hills. Rather than trying to figure out why Carmin got it wrong I am going to figure out some way to blame it on Sheila. (This is Sheila and I am going to buy an atlas ASAP)
Hopefully tomorrow the snow will have stopped and we will be on our way. We have reserved the room for one more night just in case.
It's only Sheila's fault because she let you follow the Garmin...it's your fault for listening to it :)
